It features big size rooms with the WiFi, nice seating outdoor for a coffee, as example. Plus, the location is marvellous, minutes from a major street. The staff are welcoming and pleasant and ready to help if you need anything.

Very close to the central station, just 5-10 minutes walk from the shopping street.
The breakfast was poor. Very basic. Although close to the central station, it is 30 minutes walk from the main attractions.

The staff are extremely helpful. the room is well-appointed and neat with a balcony. the breakfast with very good croissants, juice, and great cappuccino is simple continental and rich for what is offered. Rewritten Review: The staff at Albergo Salerno in Milan are incredibly helpful, making the stay very pleasant. the room I stayed in was nicely decorated and tidy, featuring a lovely balcony. the breakfast served was a simple continental spread but included delicious croissants, fresh juice, and excellent cappuccino.

The hotel is very near to the central train station and is very easy to find it. The breakfast was ok.
After entering the hotel, we had to deal with many mosquitos. The receptionist couldn't speak or understand english. The aircondition was not working, but they fixed it. It is ok if you want to spend 1 night, but I believe that their prices are high comparing to the hotel service and facilites.

We liked: - Good location - close to the Central Station (10 minutes walk) and to Lima metro station (5 minutes walk); - Large and spacious rooms; - Air conditioning; - Typical Italian breakfast - coffee, juice and croissants.
We did not like: - Rooms with street view are extremely noisy - you felt like the tram was going through our room – we didn’t get much sleep; - Our room was very dark (we could not open the blinds) and the light was just not strong enough – it was like a cave; - Dirty room, with traces of shoes on the walls (do not think has been whitewashed for years), dampness and mold in the bathroom; - Old shower, with a lot of limestone ; - The extra pillows and blankets smelled and the towels did not seem very clean, we had no courage to use them; - We struggled to lock / unlock the door - it had a bad lock and it did not open entirely - we had to sneak with our bags through a small slit. We were very disappointed.

It xas on the street, where a lot of hotels are. So we found it quickly.
Parking was full. And we spent one hour to find parking place near from the hotel. In our room when we were washing teeth, water was running out on the floor. It was terrible. And breakfast was poor.

The king room I stayed in here was spacious and had a balcony, plus it was conveniently located near the central station. Rewritten: I enjoyed that my room was big and had a balcony, and it's great that the central station was nearby.

The staff was very helpful. The hotel is near to the train station and a few blocks away from Corso Buenos Aires, which is conveniet. The room was small but clean. There is a very nice small patio at the back of the hotel, where you can enjoy your morning coffee. Overall a good budget hotel.
The bathroom was very small - a tall person will find it very hard to use.
